This is a little miniature watercolour of Strelitzia, or bird-of-paradise flowers. I love the way they flower for a long time, and even look beautiful after the flowers have died, looking like a birds crest. It is in watercolour 1inch by 2, painted in the center of an aceo art card (with a 3/4 inch border) It is for sale on ebay
These cards are popular as collector items and are a great way to collect reasonable art.
This is one of my favourite subjects (probably because it is popular) a Raven. They allow you to get great expression in their stance. This is on a gold background.
This is a painting of a 'Fairy Tree', there are many such trees dotted around Ireland. They are usually ancient hawthorn trees, growing in the middle of a field. They are reputed to be owned by the fairies and bad luck will befall any who interfere with them. To this day farmers work around them giving them a wide berth when using machinery lest they damage the roots.
This is another of my favourite places, the mountains are 15 minutes away from our house. The colours on the blanket bog are constantly changing. I painted this as a sunset, the colours in the shy echo the colour of the bog at this time of the year. The bog will turn green shortly with new growth. Acrylic on Canvas 6.5 X 5.5 inches approximately $60 +$10 shipping email to buy

This is a painting of the Gorse, or Furze bushes that abound throughout the wicklow mountains and foothills around my house. At this time of year it comes into bloom creating a mass of yellow in the landscape that is repeated again in the Autumn.
